Receive goods and count stock in Merit Aktiva, and sild keeps WooCommerce stock in line with it. Here's how to turn it on.

What it does

  • WooCommerce stock is set to the quantity in Merit Aktiva. Products are matched by SKU.
  • What's been sold in the shop but isn't invoiced yet is taken off.
  • Only products that track their own stock change (stock management is on in WooCommerce).
  • Products that aren't in Merit Aktiva, or have no SKU, keep the stock you set in WooCommerce.
  • It only works in live mode.

Turn it on

  1. Open sild · Merit Aktiva → Settings → Stock.
  2. Tick Update WooCommerce stock from Merit Aktiva.
  3. Choose how often to Read stock from Merit Aktiva: every 15 minutes, every 30 minutes (default), every hour or every 3 hours.
  4. Under Count stock in these warehouses, tick the warehouses whose quantities count. With none ticked, sild uses the warehouse set under Items, or all of them.
  5. Click Save settings.

Done! After each update, the bottom of the section shows "Last update …: N products changed."

Stock comes with every paid plan. If the checkbox is greyed out and marked Paid plans, it isn't in your plan. See the pricing page.

How often to update

A shorter interval keeps the shop closer to Merit Aktiva, but most shops don't need it. Sales lower WooCommerce stock straight away on their own; the update only brings in the goods you've received. Once a night all items in stock are sent again, so stock edited by hand in the shop is put right.

Why unbilled sales are taken off

If invoices are made only when an order is Completed, Merit Aktiva knows nothing about the sale until then. If sild took that quantity as it is, shop stock would jump back up, and the same goods could be sold twice. So sild takes off the sales that aren't invoiced yet before it updates the stock.
